We started scraping UK competition sites in February 2026 — recording ticket prices, sell-through rates, and draw outcomes every hour across 8 sites. After several months and more than 133,000 snapshot readings, a clear pattern has emerged: most car competitions draw before every ticket is sold. That means the true odds for buyers are regularly better than the advertised figure, and the gap varies significantly between sites.
Everything here is derived from publicly visible data — what the sites display on their own pages. We don't have access to operator systems or internal records. Our scrapers check each competition every hour, recording the ticket count, sell-through percentage, and status. When a competition changes to “drawn” or “sold out”, we record the final state. The analysis below is built on that raw history.
