By James Lane·Car enthusiast & founder·How we calculate

Rev Comps was founded in 2019 by Peter and Robert Savage — father and son — in Paignton, Devon. It's grown into one of the larger operators in the sector: revenue of £80M+ in the year to May 2025, and over 6,300 publicly listed vehicle winners with names, photos, and prize details. The draw format is distinctive: live ball machine draws on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:10 PM, using lottery-grade equipment rather than a software RNG — you can see the ball come out, which some entrants find more convincing than a number on a screen.

Ownership note

Winvia Entertainment PLC agreed to acquire Rev Comps for £11.8 million, with completion expected by 1 July 2026. Winvia already owns BOTB and Click Competitions. Once the deal closes, three of the eight competition sites we track will share the same parent company. The deal values Rev Comps at a multiple of earnings, which validates the underlying business, but it also means the family-run character of the company is changing. We'll update this page once the acquisition completes.

How it works

Fixed-odds competitions with a skill question. Ticket prices range from 99p to £50, with early-bird discounts before prices rise. Two draw types: live ball machine draws (Mon/Thu at 8:10 PM, streamed on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) and auto draws (triggered on sellout or a scheduled date). All prizes are drawn on the stated date or earlier if the competition sells out.

Free entry: Digital free entry by submitting contact details only — no payment needed. Postal entry (unenclosed postcard) also available.

What's on offer

Audi RS3, BMW M4 Competition, and various Ford vehicles on the car side; cash prizes from £20k up to £1 million (their 7th birthday draw); Rolex watches, TUI holidays, and tech. Cash alternatives available and tax-free. Delivery is free nationwide — documented cases include prompt delivery to remote areas within a week. Rev Comps also donates to charity weekly; over £1.2 million distributed to date.

Concerns — read before entering

No responsible gambling page. As of our research date (June 2026), Rev Comps has no deposit limits, self-exclusion options, or Begambleaware integration. For a platform handling this volume of transactions, that's a meaningful gap. If spending control tools matter to you, check whether this has changed before you sign up.

Website security. A 2024 audit found the WordPress installation was running significantly outdated software — over a year behind on updates, with 28+ plugins severely out of date. This was flagged as a genuine security risk for anyone entering payment or personal data. Check whether this has been remediated before entering financial details.

Auto draw opacity. The mechanics of auto draws aren't clearly explained, and results from auto draws aren't published with the same transparency as the live ball machine draws. If you're entering an auto draw competition, it's harder to independently verify the outcome.

Email marketing. Multiple entrants report unsolicited emails about undersold competitions. This appears to be a consistent complaint.

Who it suits

Rev Comps' strongest argument is the winner archive — 6,300+ vehicles with names and photos is the most transparent record of any UK operator. The ball machine format is also genuinely distinctive. If the responsible gambling gaps have been addressed by the time you read this, it's worth considering. If they haven't, and that matters to you, 7 Days Performance or Elite Competitions are alternatives with cleaner records on that front.

Last research update: June 2026. Owned by: Rev Corp Ltd (CH 11981806), being acquired by Winvia Entertainment PLC (AIM: WVIA). Not regulated by Gambling Commission (prize draw exemption). 18+ only. Responsible gambling.
